NEWSDASH.LIVE is anonymous by design. There are no accounts to create, no cookies, and no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We measure what people are interested in, never who they are — and most of what you do here never leaves your own browser.
This page describes what actually happens, including the parts that involve other companies.
What we do not do
- No cookies. The site sets none at all.
- No accounts, logins or sessions. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No third-party analytics or advertising. No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no ad networks.
- No device fingerprinting and no session replay.
- No selling or sharing of personal data. There is no personal data set to sell.
- No record of which articles you open, or of your searches and topic filters, tied to you.
What stays in your browser
Your dashboards, columns, saved items, muted sources, notification keywords, language, theme and text size are stored in your browser's own local storage. They are never sent to our server. They stay on that device, and clearing your browser data deletes them permanently — we hold no copy and cannot restore them.
What our server receives

Other companies involved
Some parts of the page are fetched from other companies' servers. When your browser fetches something directly, that company can see your IP address and that you requested it — the same as visiting any site that uses them. We have listed every case we are aware of:
- Google Fonts. The site's typefaces load from Google's servers on every page, so Google receives your IP address and browser details.
- News publishers. Article thumbnails are loaded from the publisher's own servers, so those publishers can see your IP address when their image appears in your feed. Article links open on the publisher's site, where their own privacy policy applies — not ours.
- YouTube and Vimeo. If you press play on an embedded video, the player loads from YouTube or Vimeo and is subject to their privacy policies and cookies. Nothing loads from them until you press play.
- Translation services. If you turn on translation, the text being translated is sent to a translation provider (DeepL, Google Translate or MyMemory). Normally this goes through our server, so the provider receives the text but not your IP address. If our server is unavailable your browser may contact MyMemory directly as a fallback, in which case it does see your IP. If your browser has a built-in on-device translator, that is used first and nothing is sent anywhere.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
